About the Congress

Prague as a Global Meeting Place

The FCEM World Congress is the flagship event of Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales, a pioneering association of women entrepreneurs founded in France in 1945 by Yvonne Foinant. Today, FCEM connects women in business in more than 120 countries across five continents.
In 2026, the 73rd edition of the Congress will bring women entrepreneurs, managers and leaders from more than 70 countries to the Czech Republic. Prague will become a place for an expert program, business meetings, sharing experiences and building new international partnerships.

A Week of Meetings, Knowledge Sharing and Networking

The Congress program brings together expert discussion, business meetings and cultural experiences. The main program is followed by an optional post-congress program presenting selected places in the Czech Republic.

Iconic Places in Prague and the Czech Republic

The Congress will take place in representative venues in Prague, and the accompanying program will present selected places in the Czech Republic. Participants will experience the expert program, social evenings and the country’s cultural heritage, including UNESCO sites, architecture and exceptional historic spaces.

National House Vinohrady

Congress · 5–6 October
A prestigious Neo-Renaissance building from 1894, it is one of Prague’s representative cultural venues. It will be the main venue for the two-day expert program of the Congress.

Martinic Palace

Cultural Evening · 5 October
The Renaissance palace on Hradčanské Square will offer a festive historic setting. Its halls will create a space for Czech culture and international networking.

Municipal House

Gala Dinner · 6 October
A jewel of Prague Art Nouveau, Municipal House is one of the city’s most important cultural and social venues. Its ceremonial halls will provide an exceptional setting for the final Gala Evening of the Congress.

Karlštejn Castle

Post-Congress · 7 October
A Gothic castle founded by Charles IV in 1348 as a private residence and a place to store royal treasures. It is one of the best-known symbols of Czech history.

Teplice Spa

Post-Congress · 7 October
Teplice is one of the oldest spa towns in Central Europe. The program will present the Czech spa tradition, health care and cultural heritage.

Brno

Post-Congress · 8 October
Brno will present functionalist architecture, technical monuments and the city’s distinctive historical layers. The program will include Villa Tugendhat, a UNESCO site, and the historic water reservoirs at Žlutý kopec.

Lednice

Post-Congress · 9 October
Lednice Chateau is part of the UNESCO-listed Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape. The romantic complex with its extensive park is one of the important monuments of the Czech Republic.
